Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing or healthcare office preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT billing procedures is a plus.
• Certification in Medical Billing or Coding preferred for some positions.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical billing and coding information accurately.
• Submit insurance claims and follow up on claim status.
• Verify insurance coverage and patient information.
• Review medical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain patient billing records and account information.
• Communicate with insurance providers regarding claims and payments.
• Assist with payment posting, collections, and account reconciliation.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality.
