WK South, part of Willis Knighton Health, is seeking an experienced medical biller in Shreveport, LA. The role supports daily operations across satellite clinics and family practice sites, focusing on patient and insurance payment posting, collections, and A/R management.

Candidates should have experience with ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding. Training will be provided as part of the hiring process, and the position is full-time with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, and coding (ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS).
• A/R management experience preferred and capable of reducing denials.
• Departmental training will be provided after hire.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with physicians, managers, nurses, and clerical staff to support daily clinic operations.
• Post patient and insurance payments and monitor cash postings.
• Work on collections and troubleshooting of insurance claims to keep A/R at a target level.

We are seeking an experienced medical biller (certified or non-certified). The ideal candidate will have previous experience in collections, insurance claim troubleshooting, posting patient and insurance payments, an understanding of explanation of benefits (EOB), collection process, and keeping the A/R at an acceptable percentage. We have an atmosphere of teamwork that we expect to continue with all new hires as you will work closely with the physicians, managers, nurses, and clerical staff as an integral component, assisting with the daily operations of our clinics. Experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, and ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding is a must. Departmental training will be provided upon successful completion of the hiring process.
