Dorsey College is seeking a Medical Billing and Coding Instructor to deliver instruction in the Billing and Coding Program, including lecture and laboratory practice, with clinical training in supervised settings.

The role requires at least 5 years in the field with 2 years teaching experience and/or CPC or AHIMA certification. Strong communication and office software skills are essential, along with knowledge of school operations.

Formación

• 5 years of field experience with 2 years teaching experience and/or CPC or AHIMA certification.
• Knowledge of lab processing, anatomy and phlebotomy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare, and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture, clinical, and/or laboratory format.
• Assess student learning using appropriate methods.
• Advise students on attendance, grades, and issues to ensure successful completion.
• Contact absentee students by text, email, or phone to improve retention.
• Maintain classroom environment per campus policies and procedure.
