Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas in Fort Worth is seeking a Medical Assistant, Billing and Coding Instructor to join our Education team. You will deliver classroom, laboratory, and online instruction in Medical Assisting, Medical Office Administration, Billing, and Coding.

Develop lesson plans, assessments, and materials aligned with our curriculum; evaluate student performance; maintain records; and support certification exam readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Medical Assisting or related field.
• At least five years of experience in medical assisting, billing, coding, or revenue cycle management.
• Certification in Medical Assisting (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA) and in Billing/Coding (CPC/CCS/CCS-P/RHIT/RHIA/CBCS).
• Prior teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction in Medical Assisting, Billing, and Coding.
• Develop lesson plans, materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum.
• Evaluate student performance with exams, quizzes, and coding exercises.
• Maintain records and provide tutoring/remediation as needed.
• Engage with clinical and industry partners for externships.
