CornerStone Staffing is seeking a part-time Medical Billing & Coding Specialist / Healthcare Sciences Instructor (1099) in Mesquite, Texas. Compensation is $95 per instructional session, with a flexible schedule during normal school hours; onsite only.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent Medical Billing & Coding experience or 1+ year instructional experience.
• Active CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA or another credential preferred.
• Ability to complete FBI background screening.

Medical Billing & Coding Specialist | Part-Time Healthcare Sciences Instructor (1099)

LOCATION: Mesquite, Texas | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $95 per instructional session, based on experience and certifications


• Monday–Friday; flexible class schedule based on instructor availability during normal high school business hours


• Typical class length: 1.5 hours; approximately 3 hours per instructional day including preparation and classroom responsibilities


• 1099 Independent Contractor


• Start: ASAP

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Medical Billing & Coding experience or at least 1 year of Medical Billing & Coding instructional experience


• Active CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA, or another nationally recognized Medical Billing & Coding credential preferred


• Ability to successfully complete FBI fingerprinting/background screening
