Addison Group is hiring a Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Specialist for our Centennial, CO client, a growing specialty physician practice. The role covers full-cycle medical billing, including submission, follow-up, denials, collections, and posting.

The ideal candidate will excel in dermatology billing, trust accounts, and ensure claims are resolved correctly the first time. Onsite schedule with some hybrid flexibility, pay $24–$26/hour based on experience, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of full-cycle medical billing or Revenue Cycle experience.
• Experience in dermatology or specialty physician practice billing strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing, AR follow-up, and denial management.
• Understanding of CPT codes, modifiers, and payer guidelines.
• Experience researching and resolving complex claim issues.
• Comfortable managing high-volume billing and collections workloads.
• Strong technical skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience with ModMed (Modernizing Medicine) preferred.
• Familiarity with Apple products and Google Workspace preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Review payer correspondence, rejected claims, and denials.
• Research and resolve approximately 50 denied or outstanding claims daily.
• Perform detailed insurance AR follow-up and collections.
• Review coding, modifiers, and payer requirements to identify billing issues.
• Investigate underpayments, denials, and reimbursement discrepancies.
• Manage patient collections and account balances as needed.
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately.
• Work claims through final resolution and account closure. Identify recurring denial trends and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve Revenue Cycle performance.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (some flexibility available)

Position Overview

Addison Group is hiring for our client, a growing specialty physician practice in Centennial, CO, seeking an experienced Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Specialist to join its team.

This position is responsible for full-cycle medical billing, including claim submission, insurance follow-up, denial resolution, collections, and payment posting.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of physician billing, payer guidelines, modifiers, and reimbursement processes. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their accounts, investigates issues thoroughly, and focuses on resolving claims correctly the first time.
