Reading, PA-based healthcare practice is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing and coding, ensuring accurate and timely submission of medical claims for reimbursement.

Duties include reviewing billing data, preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies, following up on unpaid claims, appealing denials, posting payments, researching discrepancies, staying updated on insurance guidelines, and proficient use

Competenze

• Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG coding and medical records management.
• 2+ years of experience in medical billing, medical collections, or related field.
• Familiarity with OpenPM and Praxis EMR is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, insurance companies, and providers.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing and coding, ensuring accurate and timely submission of medical claims for reimbursement.

Duties:

• Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
• Monitor and appeal denied claims
• Post payments to appropriate accounts in a timely manner
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies or issues
• Maintain updated knowledge of insurance guidelines and regulations
• Comfortable using EMR systems

Experience:

• Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG coding, and medical records management
• Previous experience (2 years or more) in medical billing, medical collections, or related field
• Previous Experience with OpenPM and Praxis EMR is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and insurance claim processing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare provider
