Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team in Reading, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing and coding, ensuring accurate and timely submission of medical claims for reimbursement.

Duties include reviewing billing data for accuracy, preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies, following up on unpaid claims, appealing denials, posting payments, and resolving discrepancies. Familiarity with OpenPM or Praxis EMR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing or related field.
• Proficiency in ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG coding and medical records management.
• Familiarity with OpenPM and Praxis EMR preferred but not required.
• Comfortable using EMR systems and handling insurance claims.
