Staffing Specialist | Talent & Recruitment Partner

Our Client in Cherry Hill, New Jersey is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. This position can sit in Pennsauken or Cherry Hill. This is a Temp to Hire position, offering $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Exporting, importing, and submitting claims between systems
• Performing medical billing collections and follow-up
• Resolving insurance denials and underpayments
• Reviewing medical claims for accuracy and compliance
• Identifying and resolving outstanding issues preventing claim resolution
• Completing documentation and data entry tasks
• Verifying patient health insurance benefits
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of medical billing experience
• Working knowledge of Medicaid
• Experience with EMR systems such as NaviNet or EPIC (preferred)
• Solid understanding of EOBs, insurance processes, CPT, ICD-10, and UB codes
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and research abilities
• Ability to process 70+ claims to meet productivity goals
• High school diploma or GED required
