About Strategic Solutions Management Consultants (SSMC)

SSMC is a full-service medical billing and practice management firm providing comprehensive solutions to private practice physicians, hospitals, and healthcare networks. Our team of consultants, coders, and billers deliver insights beyond traditional billing services.

Position: Medical Biller

The Medical Biller will be responsible for providing billing services to assigned clients, including provider offices and hospitals. Responsibilities include billing support, claim submissions, statement management, reporting, and other duties. Billers must meet quality and productivity standards to ensure excellent client service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum one year of customer service experience required
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical billing and collections preferred
• Experience with Medent preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to identify problems proactively and implement solutions
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment
