Registry Ally, Inc. is supporting a well-established Cardiology Clinic with locations in Torrance and Koreatown in its search for a detail-oriented Medical Biller who can also assist with front office duties.

This full-time permanent position is on-site at Torrance and Koreatown offices, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role requires 2+ years of outpatient medical billing experience (cardiology preferred), proficiency with ICD-10/ICD-11 coding, and billing software.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience in outpatient clinic (cardiology preferred).
• Proficient in medical insurance billing and ICD-10/ICD-11 coding.
• Strong communication and follow-up abilities; detail oriented and ethical.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit insurance claims promptly.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and resubmit denied claims as needed.
• Monitor insurance responses and ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) aging reports.
• Post insurance and patient payments into the EMR system.
• Identify and resolve claim issues.
• Answer phones and assist the clinic with front office duties.

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical billing experience in an outpatient clinic, preferably in cardiology
• Proficient in navigating the medical insurance billing process
• Knowledgeable in ICD-10 and ICD-11 coding standards
• Highly proficient with computers and billing software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong follow-up skills with a demonstrated sense of urgency
