Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, provides clinical support under physician supervision, including handling orthopedic equipment, removing sutures and staples, and positioning patients for procedures.

Qualifications

• Less than one year of experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic Life Support required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under physician supervision.
• Apply orthopedic equipment, remove sutures and staples, and position patients for procedures.
• Support hospital and departmental operations and uphold customer service standards.

Summary:

Under direct supervision of physician, performs a variety of clinical responsibilities to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Applies various orthopedic equipment, removes sutures and staples, and positions various orthopedic patients for procedures. Performs other functions to support Hospital and departmental requirements. Works proactively and in partnership with other staff contributing to effective operations. Delivers service in conjunction with the Hospital's customer service standards and expectations.
