LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD seeks a Medical Assistant to assist physicians in examinations, apply orthopedic equipment, and position patients for procedures. Responsibilities include suture removal and general clinical support in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required: Basic Life Support and Medical Assistant Certification; experience under one year preferred. On-site role with strong teamwork and commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Less than one year of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• High School / GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with clinical tasks and patient examinations.
• Apply orthopedic equipment and position patients for procedures.
• Remove sutures and staples; support inpatient and outpatient care.
• Collaborate with staff to uphold hospital operations and service standards.

Summary

Under direct supervision of physician, performs a variety of clinical responsibilities to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Applies various orthopedic equipment, removes sutures and staples, and positions various orthopedic patients for procedures. Performs other functions to support Hospital and departmental requirements. Works proactively and in partnership with other staff contributing to effective operations. Delivers service in conjunction with the Hospital's customer service standards and expectations.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $20.00 to $30.09 Based On Experience
