Job summary

Joliet Junior College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Medical Assisting, responsible for teaching classes during non-traditional times, including evenings and weekends. The position requires at least an associate degree in Medical Assisting or a related field, along with certification and occupational experience. Additional preference will be given to those with teaching experience and bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
• Three years of occupational experience in Medical Assisting.
• One year of full-time experience as a Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Possess and maintain knowledge of subject matter.
• Teach classes during non-traditional times.
• Participate in departmental meetings.
