Joliet Junior College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Nursing Clinical to teach both introductory and advanced courses. Responsibilities include assisting in course development, participating in evaluations, and demonstrating a commitment to the community college mission.

Adjunct Instructor, Nursing Clinical
Hourly pay: $70 per hour. Competitive starting pay is dependent on education and experience. The position is part time.
Teach introductory and advanced classes in nursing practicum. Participate in course development, assessment, accreditation, and planning activities. Be willing to teach online and/or blended courses. Participate in appropriate departmental meetings. Demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and learning. Possess and maintain a thorough knowledge of the subject matter necessary to the assigned course load and keep informed of current trends in the field of nursing and health care. Demonstrate strong understanding and commitment to the community college mission. Teach classes during non-traditional times (evenings and weekends) and at clinical and other campus sites as needed. Meet other contractual obligations as spelled out in the Joliet Junior College adjunct faculty contract. Perform other duties as assigned.
