Everyone Urgent Care LLC in Parrish, FL is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician to join our urgent care team. This dual role involves performing X-ray imaging, assisting providers, taking vital signs, and preparing exam rooms in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates hold CMA/RMA credentials with a Limited Scope X-Ray license or RT certification and have EMR experience. Prior urgent care or clinic exposure is preferred, with strong communication and patient-facing skills

Qualifications

• CMA or RMA certification preferred and radiologic licensure required.
• Experience in urgent care or clinic settings preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging ensuring high-quality radiographs.
• Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Conduct patient intake including vital signs and medical history.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies.
• Administer injections, draw blood, and collect lab specimens.
• Operate radiologic equipment adhering to safety standards.
• Document patient information in the EMR system accurately.
• Provide patient education and support throughout care.
• Assist with registration and verify insurance information.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and readiness for patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging and ensure accurate, high-quality radiographic results


• Assist physicians and providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments


• Conduct patient intake including vital signs, medical history, and chief complaint documentation


• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply stocking


• Administer injections, draw blood, and collect lab specimens as directed


• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with safety standards


• Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system


• Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout the care process


• Assist patients during the registration process. Know insurance RTE and insurance verification


• Maintain the clinic's cleanliness and readiness for patient care

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred


• Limited Scope X-Ray License or Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification required


• Previous experience in an urgent care, clinic, or emergency setting preferred


• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation


• Proficiency with insurance verification and registration


• Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills


• Excellent communication, multitasking, and patient-facing skills


• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
