CareSpot in Florida is hiring a X-ray tech to prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform imaging in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will support clinicians and handle transactions as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensure as Radiologic Technologist or Basic Machine Operator is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform X-rays within scope of practice.
• Practice patient shielding and ALARA standards.
• Keep an accurate log of exams performed including documentation of LMP and shielding.
• Verify condition of network and X-ray server.
• Clean cassettes, table, and chest board after each procedure.
• Perform front and back office duties as needed by daily clinic operations, including collecting payments.

POSITION SUMMARY

What youll be doing

We are hiring an X Ray Tech to prepare our patients for and perform radiologic procedures as well as assisting with other medical support as required by our clinicians

A typical day will include

• Preparing and performing x rays within scope of practice
• Practicing patient shielding and ALARA standards
• Keeping an accurate log of exams performed including documenting LMP and shielding
• Verifying condition of network and x ray server
• Cleaning cassettes table and chest board after each procedure
• Performing additional front and back office duties as required by the daily operations of the clinic including collecting payments for services rendered

What youll bring to the table

A high school diploma or equivalent as well as one of the following licenses

• License for Radiologic Technologists or Basic Machine Operator Wed also prefer you to have prior recent experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department urgent care or other ambulatory clinic
