Job Summary
EveryOne Urgent Care is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Limited Radiology Technician or Radiologic Technologist for a cross-trained clinical position. In addition to performing diagnostic X-rays, this team member will support medical assistant and front-desk duties to help maintain efficient patient flow and provide an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-rays within the scope of licensure and clinic protocols.
Verify imaging orders, patient identity, positioning, and radiation safety requirements.
Prepare patients for examinations and obtain vital signs and medical histories.
Perform medical assistant duties, including point-of-care testing, specimen collection, EKGs, medication preparation, and assistance with procedures.
Clean, disinfect, and prepare examination rooms and equipment.
Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
Register and check in patients, verify demographics and insurance information, and collect payments.
Answer telephone calls, schedule visits, and assist with other front-desk responsibilities.
Maintain X-ray quality-control records and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection-control standards.
Work collaboratively with providers and team members in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
Qualifications
Current Florida license or certification applicable to Limited Radiology Technician/BXMO or Radiologic Technologist duties.
Medical assistant certification or previous clinical experience preferred.
Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it before starting.
Experience with phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, EKGs, and electronic medical records preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
Comfortable performing clinical, radiology, and front-desk responsibilities.
Ability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely assist with patient positioning and mobility.
