Physicians Care in Dalton, GA is seeking experienced Medical Assistants for full-time roles in urgent care, occupational health, and workers’ compensation settings. The role covers patient intake, vital signs, documentation, x-ray procedures, and assisting the provider. A CMA credential is preferred, with BLS required and X-ray experience desirable.

Full-time benefits are included. The team works a rotating 36-40 hour week with 12-hour shifts and PRN options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Experience performing X-Rays is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients promptly and explain next steps and wait times.
• Support front desk with check-in and check-out when needed.
• Accurately document vital signs, histories, meds, and allergies.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and basic clinical tasks as directed.
• Prepare and shoot X-Rays with proper safety and positioning.
• Ensure proper documentation and clean exam rooms.
• Adhere to infection control and patient confidentiality.
