Physicians Care, affiliated with Urgent Team, is seeking experienced Medical Assistants for Dayton, TN. You will perform clinical tasks in urgent care, occupational health, and workers’ compensation settings, including first evaluations, X-ray testing, and preparing patients for provider evaluation.

The role requires high school diploma, BLS certification, CMA preferred, and experience with X-ray procedures is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Experience performing X-Rays is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients promptly and explain next steps and wait times.
• Provide solutions to patient concerns and seek help in emergent situations.
• Follow up on lab and X-ray results with urgency.
• Assist front desk with check-in and check-out when needed.
• Document vital signs, histories, medications, and allergies accurately.
• Assist with transfers, procedures, and lab work under provider supervision.
• Prepare and shoot X-Rays with proper positioning and shielding.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and complete documentation.
• Adhere to infection control and patient confidentiality standards.
• Perform phlebotomy and injections as trained.
