Job summary

Physicians Care in Chattanooga, TN is seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our urgent care teams. The MA will provide clinical care, record vital signs, assist with X-rays, and support providers in evaluation and documentation across urgent care, occupational health, and workers’ compensation settings.

Full-time positions offer competitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off. PRN options may also be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Experience performing X-Rays is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and communicate next steps and wait times.
• Ensure follow-up for labs and X-ray results with urgency.
• Document vital signs, histories, medications, and allergies.
• Assist with transfers, procedures, and lab work under supervision.
• Prepare and shoot X-Rays with proper safety and shielding.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and complete visit documentation.
