Job summary

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our field-based wound care team. You will travel to patient homes in the Phoenix area to provide hands-on clinical support under supervising providers.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, clinically competent, and passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a mobile setting, with strong organizational and communication skills and comfort with electronic documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Assistant Certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinical or medical experience preferred.
• Experience in home health, mobile healthcare, or field-based roles a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following clinical protocols.
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and assist providers during visits.
• Scribe for physicians and document clinical findings accurately.
