Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our field-based wound care team. You will travel to patient homes and provide hands-on clinical support under supervising providers.

The ideal candidate has CMA certification, 1–2 years of clinical experience, and strong knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this mobile role.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Assistant certification is required.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in home health, mobile healthcare, or field-based roles a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following clinical protocols.
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated clinical tasks and patient care duties in field-based setting.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist providers during visits.
• Scribe for physicians and document clinical findings accurately.
