Job summary

West Coast Wound is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our field-based wound care team. You will travel to patient homes to provide hands-on clinical support under supervising providers, ensuring high-quality patient care in a mobile setting.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Medical Assistant certification with 1–2 years of clinical experience, preferably in home health or mobile care. Strong medical terminology skills and reliable transportation are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Assistant certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinical or medical experience preferred.
• Experience in home health, mobile healthcare, or field-based roles a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following clinical protocols.
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated clinical tasks and patient care duties in a field-based setting.
