Sirius Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant in Edina, MN to support VA Claim Exams with both administrative and clinical duties. Phlebotomy experience is required; no MA certification is needed. On-site training will cover other duties and responsibilities.

The role requires strong computer skills (Office 365/Outlook), accurate data entry, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, starting at 7:45 AM.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience is required.
• Medical Assistant certification is not required.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook.
• Minimum typing speed of 45–60 WPM.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients to obtain comprehensive medical histories and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare clinical charts and conduct Medical Opinion (IMO) research before claimant appointments.
• Update and maintain medical records and billing reports while adhering to privacy regulations.
• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms and medical instruments.
• Escort claimants to examination rooms and assist with their needs during visits.
