Cook Children’s CCPN is seeking a Medical Assistant for Windsong Primary Care in Texas. The role functions under clinical supervision to assist in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider and other licensed staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and either graduation from an accredited MA program or a current MA certification. Pediatric or family medicine experience is preferred, and CPR certification is required.

Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Summary: The Medical Assistant role functions under the clinical supervision of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. This individual assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties are skillfully and consistently performed per established clinical policy and procedure.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma required.
• Required: Either a graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification.
• Preferred: Family medicine or pediatric experience.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

• National certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
