Job summary

Fauquier Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for Bealeton Family Medicine. This full-time, daytime role runs Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with an hourly range of $16.96-$20.02.

The MA will perform routine clinical and administrative duties, take vital signs, document patient histories in the EHR, assist providers with exams and procedures, and support front desk operations as needed. CMA/CCMA/RMA certification is preferred; 1 year MA experience required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program is preferred.
• CMA/CCMA/RMA certification is preferred; BLS within 30 days of hire is requested.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience is required.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the office.
• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections.
• Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain stocked exam rooms.
• Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education.
