Job summary

Fauquier Health's Non-Surgical Multi-Specialty Clinic seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks in a busy, patient-centered setting in Warrenton, VA. The MA will take vitals, document histories, assist providers, and help with exams and procedures.

Candidates should have CMA/CCMA/RMA certification, BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of MA experience; phlebotomy experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• CMA/CCMA/RMA certification required
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required

Responsibilities

• Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records (EHR).
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections.
• Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms.
• Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred. Additional requirements include:

• CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
• Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
