Job summary

UnityPoint Health – Meriter is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our ambulatory care team. The MA will perform technical and patient-related tasks, assist with phlebotomy as needed, and support clinic operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care with a focus on safety and quality, working Mon-Fri with day hours and a 40-hour week. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (One year program at Vocational School) or completion of an accredited LPN/EMT program or current CMA/CCMA/RMA certification.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Exhibits excellent organizational, internal and external service skills and professional communication.

Responsibilities
