Corewell Health’s Holland ICC Walk-In Clinic is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support two full-time providers in a fast-paced setting serving patients of all ages.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and compassionate care across pediatric, adult, and older adult patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills OR a minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care and clinical support functions.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.
• One of CMA, AMT, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or NAHP certifications is required within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• As a Medical Assistant, you will be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure delivery of high-quality care.
• You will support two full-time providers in a fast-paced walk-in clinic environment serving patients of all ages.

About the Practice

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Holland ICC Walk-In Clinic team. This role works side by side with another MA to support two full-time providers in a fast-paced walk-in clinic environment that serves patients of all ages. This position requires strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to provide compassionate care to pediatric, adult, and older adult patients. This is a great opportunity for an MA who enjoys variety in their day, values teamwork, and is passionate about providing excellent care to the community.

Scope of work

As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills OR a minimum of one (1) year of experience working specifically in the role of a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic or EMT performing direct patient care and clinical support functions consistent with an MA scope of practice Required
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
• One of the following Required within 120 Days AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
