Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican in northern Illinois is seeking a Medical Assistant for a 100% FTE, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm at the UW Health 9th street clinic 209 9th street. The role includes patient care support, documentation, and collaboration with clinicians.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
• Computer experience. Required
• RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
