Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is hiring a Medical Assistant to join the 9th Street clinic. The role supports clinical operations with patient intake, basic procedure assistance, and documentation in the electronic medical record.

Job description

Work Schedule:

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
• Computer experience. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
