A healthcare provider in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver exceptional patient care. The role involves assisting providers with patient intake, triaging, and managing medical records in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial.
• Prior Medical Assisting experience or education is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider(s) in caring for patients to ensure optimal medical care.
• Triage patients promptly in line with clinic procedures.
• Document vital signs, weight, and updates to patients' medical histories.
• Perform lab tests in compliance with clinical guidelines.
• Manage digital patient records and support transition from paper to electronic.
• Prepare examination rooms for patient appointments.
• Administer prescribed medications under provider supervision.
• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations.
• Position patients for x-rays following provider directives.
• Help monitor and manage medical inventory.
