MD Now Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care across our Florida clinics. You will prepare patients for examinations, take histories and vital signs, set up rooms, and assist with injections, lab testing and phlebotomy.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited MA program, 1+ year clinical experience preferred, and familiarity with EHR systems. Candidates should be able to obtain required certifications within 30 days, including BLS.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
• 1+ year of clinical patient experience preferred.
• Experience with an EHR system is helpful.
• AAMA certification is helpful.
• Ability to obtain Breath Alcohol Screening and Drug Screening certifications within 30 days.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days.
• Certificate or work experience in lieu of degree acceptable.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vitals.
• Set up exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Administer injections and assist with lab tests and phlebotomy.
• Assist with splints, dressings and bandages.
• Coordinate follow-up care and referrals.
