Location: 164-50 Crossbay Boulevard, 1st Floor, Howard Beach, NY 11414

Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6:50am - 3:00pm, Saturday 6:50am - 10:00pm

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Prepare exam rooms by disinfecting, stocking, and verifying medications
  2. Greet patients, assist with sign-in and paperwork
  3. Answer phone calls courteously and promptly
  4. Assist and accompany patients to exam rooms
  5. Interview patients and record information
  6. Measure, collect, and record vital signs
  7. Perform basic lab testing and approved tests
  8. Display proficient phlebotomy practices
  9. Prepare specimens for lab transportation
  10. Assist in examination and treatment under clinician direction
  11. Place follow-up calls to patients
  12. Perform other duties as required
  13. Travel and provide coverage to neighboring sites as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in Medical Assisting
  • Experience with vital signs and basic lab tests
  • Epic experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
