Gulf Coast Heart and Vascular LLC is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant Triage to join our team. You will room patients, obtain vitals, perform EKGs, and prepare charts before arrival. The ideal candidate has customer service skills and an interest in learning more about a clinical environment.

Candidate should have prior office experience; BLS or CMA is preferred. Responsibilities include assisting clinicians, answering phones, and handling basic medical office duties.

• BLS Certification or CMA preferred.

• Experience in the medical field desired.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes and setting up equipment.
• Clean rooms and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and manage basic medical office duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant Triage to join our team! As a Medical Assistant Triage, you will be responsible for rooming patients by obtaining vitals signs, and performing EKGs. You will also be responsible for preparing charts and pulling notes before patient's arrival.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience.
