Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• Must have active national MA certification at hire.
• 1+ year experience with insurance verification and patient registration required.
• Active BLS certification required or must be obtained within onboarding.
• Experience in urgent care or emergency room is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet and triage patients, collect vitals/histories.
• Verify insurance eligibility and register patients.
• Educate patients on clinical procedures and financial expectations.
• Maintain compliance logs and support HIPAA standards.
