Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Wellness & Pain Management clinic. Full-time, on-site role with comprehensive hands-on training to become a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).

No prior MA experience required; training program 3–6 weeks depending on prior experience. You will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, support patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited medical assisting program.
• Completion of MA program with minimum 720 clock hours, including 160-hour externship.
• Must obtain CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/AMCA certification within 12 months of hire.
• Preferred: current CPR certification; 1 year clinical or office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs and accurate medical histories.
• Assist physicians with exams and minor procedures.
• Handle specimen collection and processing per protocol.
• Maintain infection control, exam rooms, and equipment.
• Support scheduling, referrals, and patient communications.
