Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assistant program or one year of MA experience.
• High school diploma required for trainee; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Take patients to rooms and obtain vital signs.
• Assist with medical procedures and phlebotomy.
• Obtain lab specimens and administer medications and vaccines.
• Greet patients and schedule appointments.
• Billing, coding, and FMLA paperwork.
• Maintain EMR and perform clerical work.
