Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma, certificate, or Associate degree in Medical Assisting.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support within 90 days of employment.
• Mandatory Reporter Training for Child & Dependent Adult Abuse required by Iowa law.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Patient Care Team to provide healthcare in a clinic setting.
• Prepare for exams; assist provider; obtain patient vitals per workflow.
• Document care in EHR and process prior authorizations/referrals.
