Job summary

CAREonsite is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA) to support occupational health services nationwide. You will assist medical providers, perform basic lab tasks, administer meds, and help maintain patient records in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate completed an accredited MA program, holds MA certification with state board, and current BLS/CPR/AED. Clinical experience is a plus, and strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification meeting state medical board requirements.
• Current BLS/CPR/AED certification.
• Clinical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams including vision, hearing, vitals, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens.
• Administer medications and injections; perform blood draws; apply splints and dressings.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for patient care.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Handle scheduling, phones, and maintain patient charts.
• Maintain HIPAA and state/federal regulatory compliance.
• Perform COVID-related duties including temperature checks and screening.
• Support front and back office functions as needed.

Schedule & Pay Schedule Monday Friday 900am 600pm temporaryPay Range 25 hr

What Youll Do

• Conduct physical exams including vision hearing vitals respiratory fit testing and drugalcohol testing
• Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens
• Administer medications and injections perform blood draws apply splints and dressings
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for patient care
• Assist medical providers during examinations and procedures
• Handle administrative duties such as scheduling answering phones and maintaining patient charts
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and statefederal regulations
• Perform COVID related duties including temperature screening questionnaires vital signs and testing
• Support both front and back office functions as needed

What Were Looking For

• Completion of a Medical Assistant MA program from an accredited school
• Medical Assistant MA certification meeting state medical board requirements
• Current BCLS CPRAED certification
• Clinical experience is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
