Job summary

TexomaCare, affiliated with Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX, seeks a Medical Assistant for Bonham, TX. You will assist physicians, interview patients, and measure vitals while documenting in EMR per IPM guidelines.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, venipuncture, and some front desk coverage. Requires HS diploma, BLS/CPR, and MA certificate or 1 year experience; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. More than 3,500 employees, 400 multi‑specialty physicians, and over 100 volunteers have helped to support the hospital in delivering quality, patient‑focused care to the Texoma region for over 50 years.


TheMedical Assistant (BONHAM, TX) is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties, which include assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Interviewing patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), venipuncture, and procedures as directed by the physician within the scope of practice in the State. Documentation is recorded in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with IPM guideline. Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. Assists in covering the front desk as required.
