Job summary

Hourly Range: $27.32 - $28.38    Annual Salary: $56,833.36 - $59,021.62

Position Summary

Full‑time Medical Assistant Supervisor position available for our Vancouver–Delaware Medical Clinic in Vancouver. The role involves leading the medical assistant team to deliver high‑quality care, managing patient flow, performing clinical procedures as needed, ensuring compliance with clinical quality measures, and handling related administrative duties.

Duties

• Hire, train, and supervise medical assistants to provide patient‑centered care following established clinical guidelines for preventive and chronic disease management.
• Evaluate medical assistant performance and provide feedback to staff.
• Ensure all performance measures, including clinical quality measures, provider productivity, and resource management, are met.
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to the clinic care team—including MAs, care coordinators, externs, and phlebotomists—while enforcing the AIDET model of service.

Requirements

• Strong leadership, supervisory, and training skills with a robust clinical background in ambulatory care.
• Active participation in staff meetings.
• Sensitive and effective interaction with diverse populations.
• Anticipate patient and provider needs based on clinical presentation.
• Anticipate clinic needs based on existing demands, resources, and historical trends.
• Flexibility with clinic hours.
• Willingness to take on new projects.
• Experience working with multicultural and diverse populations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, not required.

Education Requirements

Graduated from an accredited program with an active MA‑C license in Washington or be licensed as an LPN in Washington; CPR certification and state‑mandated HIV education are required.
