Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:
  • Position: Medical Assistant
  • Location: 2101 S Arlington Heights Rd. Arlington Heights, IL.
  • Full Time: 40 hours/week
  • Hours: Varying hours - Monday to Friday (7:15am - 7pm).
What you will do:

Reporting to the Practice Manager and accountable to the Clinical Supervisor, serves as primary assistant to the medical provider by performing routine clinical tasks and direct patient care under supervision. Facilitates patient throughput, clinical testing, and follow-up activities based on physician orders.

  • Assists the provider with patient care activities, maintains exam and treatment rooms, stocks supplies, and documents patient data. Prepares patients and assists during examinations.
  • Reviews and updates patient records, schedules tests and treatments, and confers with physicians on patient tests and orders.
  • Performs clinical duties such as taking vital signs, injections, immunizations, and supporting minor procedures. Performs venipunctures, Point of Care testing, and supports lab services.
  • Handles clerical tasks including answering phones, updating records, scheduling, and coordinating patient care through triage and follow-up.
What you will need:
  • Education: Preferred current certification from a recognized Medical Assistant body or obtain within 3 months.
  • Certification: BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
  • Experience: Knowledge of clinical equipment and materials.
