FHCCGLA is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) / Specialty Care Coordinator to join the Nutrition, Immunization, ECM, and MAT teams. The role supports direct patient care, scheduling, and clinic operations, ensuring high-quality service across multiple departments.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, vaccine administration, and coordinating referrals, with travel to FHCCGLA sites as needed. HIPAA compliance and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in clinical settings preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential.
• Knowledge of EHR systems is a plus.

• Prepares patients for examinations and treatments.
• Obtains and documents patient vital signs and histories.
• Performs patient intake and rooming procedures per clinic protocols.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Educates patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Coordinates scheduling and patient appointments.
• Tracks referrals and program participation to ensure continuity of care.
• Assists in outreach and follow-up calls to increase patient engagement.
