Job summary

Holland Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care, record keeping, and administrative duties. The role involves collecting patient information, vital signs, and coordinating tests and referrals under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include following up with test results, scheduling, and maintaining confidential medical records. A sign-on bonus is offered, with a pay range of $18.50–$24.83 per hour for a full-time position, working Monday through Thursday mornings

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification/Registration or LPN is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider within 60 days after hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and update patient information and vital signs.
• Screen and follow up with patient test results and prior authorizations.
• Assist provider with patient follow-up calls and care coordination.
• Prepare and maintain medical records and documentation in EMR.
• Schedule appointments and manage phone encounters and referrals.
