Optum is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians with patient care and a wide range of administrative tasks. The role involves travel to multiple clinic locations and remote screenings, with duties including vital signs, documentation, and PHI handling under HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications include a Medical Assistant program or relevant experience, High School diploma or GED, and BLS certification (or readiness within 30 days). A valid driver's license and transportation are required.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program, or relevant experience.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clinician with minor medical procedures and patient care.
• Perform clerical and administrative duties related to patient care delivery.
• Travel to cover other clinic locations, mobile unit and skilled nursing facility screenings.
• Obtain, record, and report vital signs to RN/clinician.
• Escort patients and ensure proper documentation and movement within the facility.
• Maintain and clean exam and treatment areas and equipment.
