Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related experience in this field.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with 1+ years of recent experience as a medical assistant.
• Current CPR / BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical competence in direct care and assists MDs with procedures.
• Performs duties within department standards, policies, and protocols.
• Addresses patient needs and communicates identified needs promptly.
• Directs patients to exam rooms in a timely manner.
• Assists physician or mid-level clinician during exams and diagnostic procedures.
