Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training required.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months' phlebotomy experience desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room ArchWell Health members; conduct intake, record vital signs, and collect medical history.
• Perform examinations and routine screenings; communicate patient needs to PCP and team.
• Process patient phone messages, return calls, and route information to physicians as needed.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures; perform first aid as directed.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain accurate, ethical documentation at all times.
• Provide health coaching and follow-up calls to support healthy lifestyle choices.
