Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or healthcare vocational training.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Experience with EClinical Works or similar EMR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake, measure vital signs, obtain medical history, and prepare patients for exams.
• Engage with patients throughout appointments and report changes to PCP or specialists.
• Handle patient communications, calls, and routing information to physicians.
• Assist with dressings, wound care, CPR when needed under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and proper documentation at all times.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients weekly.
